As Marketing Partner, Kate leads all of Flybridge’s marketing, communications and investor relations’ initiatives. In addition, she works with the firm’s portfolio companies to provide both strategic and hands-on marketing support throughout their growth. Prior to joining the firm in May 2005, Kate served in marketing and public relations roles at Battery Ventures, Cisco Systems, Sangate Systems and Porter Novelli. She also served as a volunteer with the United States Peace Corps teaching English as a Second language at a high school in Gabon, Africa.
Kate is a Pod Leader for the Parity Partners P3 Program, which focuses on helping women achieve their career aspirations. She also serves as a mentor to entrepreneurs participating in the TechStars Boston program and to high school students in the Boston BUILD program. She previously sat on the board of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge. She holds a BA in Anthropology from Wheaton College in Norton, MA where she graduated cum laude and was a Wheaton Fellow.
